EXPERIENCING SPIRITUAL CONNECTION

This morning, as I meditated outside, I felt a deep connection growing inside me. During my kriya, I unexpectedly felt a tingling at the top of my head instead of at the usual forehead area, which I thought was my crown chakra activating. This was the first time I experienced this sensation, so I waited for some connection to the universal consciousness.

In the deep silence, I heard a soft feminine voice seemingly coming from the trees asking, "Can you hear me? Do you understand?" I could not distinguish it from my imagination, but suddenly, I was overwhelmed with a powerful love for all life, that nearly moved me to tears. I couldn't even walk, so I just stood there, touching the trees, feeling grounded. The physical contact with the trees helped me to calm the intense energy I felt in my heart.

The experience felt like the veil between this world and higher realms briefly thinned, giving me a glimpse into a greater unity. I had spent some time caring for plants, and have grown to love them, and it felt like they were expressing it back to me.

Although it was brief, and I did not get to hear what came after, I felt it. It was what I could only describe as “Overwhelming Love”. It was a fleeting moment, but enough to awaken me to the connections that exist between all life, between myself and the universe, showing the unity of all beings within the universe.
